Dot in the classroom
Dot is... well... a dot, who wants to be anything but itself. Jumping off the page and into a new world, Dot learns that being a little dot is just as magical as being a big fiery dragon, or a majestic unicorn.

Dot is a picture book for ages 5 and up that speaks to important concepts of being, belonging and becoming.

Being
Dot develops and discovers its identity through imitation and play - learning through connecting with others its potential and limitations. Therefore by finding itself, Dot realises where it belongs.

Belonging
After finding others who are able to live their purpose by being who are they are,
this affirming experience creates a sense of purpose and understanding of its place in the bigger picture. Giving way to what it will become.

Becoming
Dot experiences a change - it sees itself and the world through a new lense - gaining a healthier perspective of its place, from now on understanding its place in the new world and where it fits in. An important intersection of place, purpose and identity.

Identity through play and connection.
Dot is a magical adventure that leaps off the page,
challenging its readers to discover
themselves through play,
imagination and connection.
It follows a tiny character whose
only wish is to be big and magical,
but learns that being its ordinary self,
isn't so ordinary.
